Mission
A Brighter Day’s mission is to assist in providing life-saving solutions for homeless animals. Our goal is to rescue in-need companion animals from scenarios that jeopardize animal welfare and provide necessary behavioral and veterinary care, including spay or neuter, and find them appropriate homes.
Purpose and Plans
The primary purpose of A Brighter Day Animal Rescue League is to rescue canines and felines from general mistreatment, as well as to support local shelters by rescuing dogs in jeopardy of being euthanized. We make sure animals brought into our care receive proper vetting, such as spaying or neutering, and seek out both foster and forever homes. A Brighter Day Animal Rescue League aims to create and implement training and enrichment plans for each animal to help them thrive in their forever homes. We hope to work with like-minded rescue organizations in an effort to reduce the number of animals euthanized within the state of Ohio.
A Brighter Day aims to be a resource for both the public and other like-minded animal welfare organizations. Each organization has their own specialty, their own individual mission that they use to aid the community and the pets within it. We, as a rescue, understand that we can’t treat every companion animal that comes through our door. Our plan is to utilize our connections within “The League” and the continuing creation of our own programs to help all animals, big and small.
A Brighter Day Animal Rescue League is an “equal opportunity employer.” The organization will not discriminate and will take “affirmative action” measures to ensure against discrimination in volunteerism and within the board, recruitment and advertisements for recruitment or employment, compensation, termination, upgrading, promotions, and other conditions of employment against any employee, job applicant, or volunteer on the bases of race, creed, color, national origin, sex or sexual orientation.
